Past AIP Interior Design interns have been involved and worked on the following projects:

• Utilizing design experience and understanding of architectural, structural, and MEP drawings to facilitate design deliverables.
• Assisting in reviewing and reporting to the upper management on proposed design changes.
• Preparing construction documents, technical interior architectural details of finished materials and furniture.
• Support project architect/project manager in ensuring the projects meet budget and schedule expectations.
• Assist Project Lead to give advice on constructability and offer solutions to onsite construction/interface problems.

Note that all AIP interns are given a personal supervisor who will train, monitor and guide you throughout your international internship experience.

Internship tasks will vary from company to company, as well as intern to intern. These are only examples of tasks that were carried out from previous interns.
