What the internship is about
Architecture interns join design practices, from small studios to large firms working on housing, hotels and public buildings. You draw and revise plans in AutoCAD or Revit, model in SketchUp or Rhino, make presentation boards in the Adobe suite and research sites, climate and building codes. Many offices take interns on site visits and to client meetings with the project team.
A week often builds toward a design review or submission, with model and drawing work picking up near the deadline. Thailand and Singapore are our strongest destinations, followed by Japan and Malaysia.

Your role

What will I do on an architecture internship?

Do I need experience to get an architecture internship?
You'll usually need a portfolio. Student projects are fine.

Programs start from $2,050 for 6 weeks on Explorer, depending on where you go. Most internships are unpaid.
