Where will I live?
Furnished housing within about an hour of your office: Standard on Traveler (your own apartment for stays up to 12 weeks; from 16 weeks you share an apartment with other interns, with your own bedroom; a same-gender apartment on request), Premium on Pioneer (a private apartment to yourself, with your own bedroom and bathroom and a shared kitchen). Rent is paid by AIP up front, so you do not deal with landlords or deposits.
Overview
What it's like to intern here
Interns in Singapore work in the Central Business District, Tanjong Pagar, Marina Bay and one-north, for banks, consultancies, startups, law firms and hotels. Finance interns build models and reports, consulting interns prepare client decks, and IT interns support product and data teams. Dress is smart casual, and lunch is usually at a food court near the office, quick and cheap.
Singapore is compact, safe and international, and the MRT reaches every district. Weekends are for hawker centers, the Southern Ridges and cheap trips to Malaysia and Indonesia.
Why go
Chicken rice, laksa and satay at hawker centers like Maxwell and Lau Pa Sat cost a few dollars, in a city where most things are expensive.
Walk the Southern Ridges or the MacRitchie Reservoir trails after work, and take a ferry to Batam or a bus to Johor Bahru on the weekend.
Chinatown, Little India and Kampong Glam sit a few MRT stops apart, each with its own food, temples and markets.

Can international students intern in Singapore?
You need to be 18 or over with good English. Any nationality can apply, with or without a degree, and no experience is needed. Visa assistance is included in every program. We confirm your visa route before you pay the deposit and prepare the documents your embassy asks for.

Is Singapore expensive for interns?
Yes, it's one of the most expensive cities in Asia, and rent is the biggest cost. Traveler and Pioneer include your housing.

How early should I apply for Singapore?
