The internship in 30 seconds
Day to day
It's a very low-pressure job, but you still get a lot done and you learn a lot as well.
Intern
Cameron interned at a cryptocurrency company in Bangkok. His job was to research and analyze new business models for the company's cryptocurrency, and to map the cryptocurrency landscape across Asia and the United States.
He loved the culture: “Honestly, I think it's the best I've worked at in my life.” Office snacks, massages at the office, the odd football match, and a team that went to dinner together after work most days. “It's a very low-pressure job, but you still get a lot done and you learn a lot as well.”
On AIP: “Whenever I needed help finding direction in my job, or travel advice, or with anything, they were always there to make sure I would have the best experience possible.”

Life in the city
“My experience in Thailand has been an unforgettable one.” Cameron met people he plans to stay in touch with, traveled to places he never expected to see, and rates the food very highly: Bangkok, and Thailand in general, is “the food capital of the world”.

Hi, my name is Cameron. I'm a student at Cornell University studying International Agriculture and Rural Development, and I'm working here in Bangkok this summer. Welcome to my company.
My roles and responsibilities are to research and analyze new business models for my company's cryptocurrency, and to analyze the landscape of cryptocurrency across Asia and the United States.
The work environment and culture here are superb. Honestly, I think it's the best I've worked at in my life, and definitely the best in Thailand. There's office snacks, they have perks such as masseuses that come here, we get to go to soccer matches sometimes, and my team and I are really close. We get dinner after work most days, and it's a very low-pressure job, but you still get a lot done and you learn a lot as well.
My experience in Thailand has been an unforgettable one. I've met the best and most memorable people, that I know I'm going to keep in contact with in the future. I've traveled to crazy places and done a lot of things I never thought I would be able to do. And Bangkok, and just Thailand in general, is the food capital of the world, and I'm gonna try to stuff as much in my suitcase as I can when I go back to the US.
AIP's services were crucial to my experience here. Whenever I needed help finding direction in my job, or with travel advice, or with anything, they were always there to make sure I would have the best experience possible, and I don't think my experience would have been nearly as fruitful without them.
Honestly, make the most of your experience, because you're only here for so long and the time goes by super fast. So do everything you can to get to know your co-workers, explore Thailand when you have the time, and get to know the city of Bangkok, because it's so nice and so big.
