The internship in 30 seconds
Day to day
I learned how to be responsible not only for myself but for the company.
Intern
Arika interned at a company in Thailand that produces sustainable microalgae. Her project used data to find techniques the company could apply “to produce microalgae faster and better”, and that data also fed into the grants the company was applying for.
She also talked to other companies to sell the products, and learned “how to be responsible not only for myself but for the company”, a skill she knows “could be applied anywhere in the future”.
On AIP: it listens to “what you really want to do” and places you somewhere “where you can grow as a person”.

Life in the city
“Thailand is known as the land of smiles, so everyone's so nice.” Arika also likes that the food is pretty cheap and that you can travel anywhere in Southeast Asia, “because it's really nearby”.
New to the city?
What to know before you land
I'll definitely recommend you to use AIP, because it does not only listen to what you really want to do, but places you in a great place where you can grow as a person.

[unclear] I'm from the University of Toronto. I intern at a company that produces sustainable microalgae, and I've been working here for [unclear] months.
I'm currently working on a project where I look at data to see what kind of technique I could apply in our company to produce microalgae faster and better, and also to apply that data for the grants we are trying to apply for.
I learned how to be responsible not only for myself but for the company. When I'm talking to other companies to sell our products, I'm not only representing myself but the company, and I know that this skill could be applied anywhere in the future as well.
Thailand is known as the land of smiles, so everyone's so nice, and the food is pretty cheap, and you get to travel anywhere in Southeast Asia because it's really nearby. So that's what I like about Thailand.
I'll definitely recommend you to use AIP, because it does not only listen to what you really want to do, but places you in a great place where you can grow as a person. So they make sure that you have a life outside the internship, such as inviting you to soccer or events.
