Architecture internship in Thailand
Support design teams with drawings, models and site research for architecture firms in Bangkok, Thailand.
What you'll do
Your day-to-day
As an Architecture intern in Thailand, you might:
- Help draw and update plans, sections and elevations.
- Build physical or 3D models for design reviews.
- Research site conditions, climate, materials and local building rules.
- Prepare presentation boards and client slides.
- Help keep drawing sets and project files organized.
You'll build drafting and presentation skills and add pieces to your portfolio. Licensed architects sign off on drawings, so you support the team and learn how a project moves forward.

Local know-how
What to know before you go
Architecture in Bangkok
Bangkok is a large city where new towers, older neighborhoods and temples sit side by side, so architecture here mixes new construction with care for existing districts. The hot, rainy climate shapes design too, so shade, ventilation and rain protection matter. Bangkok Design Week, an annual design festival organized by the Creative Economy Agency, is held in areas such as Charoen Krung and shows how active the city's design scene is.
Architects in Thailand have a professional body, the Architect Council of Thailand. As an intern you support the team and don't sign off on drawings or designs. Depending on your host, you might help with drawings, models, site research or presentations. Tell your career advisor which software you use and whether you have a portfolio, so we can look for the closest match.
